- Surgical Process:
- During liposuction surgery, Dr. Beaty inserts a thin tube called a cannula into the skin through a small incision. The cannula then vacuums out fat deposits. Dr. Beaty will determine whether general or local anesthesia is ideal for your procedure.
- Healing Process:
- After liposuction surgery, many patients may resume normal activities within one week. Some swelling, bruising or numbness may occur. Dr. Beaty may recommend that you wait up to a month to resume intense exercise.
Liposuction
